With Sadness, We Share the Loss of Jeni Gay Flock

The adoption community lost one of our own on March 19, 2014. We join each other in sadness over the unexpected death of Jeni Gay Flock.

Jeni not only championed our cause for equal OBS access, she also extended her empathy to the needy, homeless, and pets. Jeni's compassion for all living beings is a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.

It was my privilege to meet Jeni online soon after I discovered my adoption in 2007. Jeni embraced me as she did for countless other adoptees over the years. She was a friend and cherished part of our family and community.

  1. I was so very shocked and sad to learn of this today. While I never had the privilege to meet Jeni in person, I got to "know" her through Adoptionland and FB. Sending heartfelt condolences to everyone who knew Jeni ~ may she now rest in peace
