2013 Demonstration

The Adoptee Rights Coalition has successfully planned and facilitated five annual Adoptee Rights Demonstrations (ARD).  Each year, Adoptee Rights activists gather outside of the NCSL's Annual Summit so that legislators and other attendees can view the demonstration and our message that original birth certificate access should be restored to adult adoptees.

Please read the below information carefully.

Notes on Costs & Planning
The Adoptee Rights Coalition makes every effort to plan this event in a way that is affordable to as many people as possible.  Participants will need to pay for and secure their own flights/transportation, lodging, and pay for their after party meal.  However, there is no fee for the demonstration and the literature, sign supplies, and entire NCSL booth are covered by the ARC.  If you would like to donate to the ARC to help us cover our expenses, please consider donating today through PayPal or participating in our Indiegogo campaign.
